This is my major work for my year 12 art course. (this and about 4 other smallish works)
thus picture was inspired by my father. before i was born he was working as a fencer(making fences, not stabbing people ) he lifted something wrong and his spinal chord is now pinched between his spine.
ever since he has had really bad back pain and it's affected everyone in the family.
no one really understands how back pain affects people or hell..even cares. so maybe this picture can get across some empathy. well. i hope it does
ive worked on this peice for a few weeks now and all up it must have taken me 8-10 hours, just because i wanted to get everything looking as good as i could. it may not look like much but so far this problably the hardest thing ive done.
please give critique. ive worked really hard on this one
i left it white becuase it gives it more of a sense of isolation. however...i did try it with a dark broken down house sort of background (just to see what it would look like) and it looked to much like someone had just skinned someone and hung them up. also, it looked very shallow
that looks creepy.... great job... i cant even tell what that purple... thing... is...
uh... okay... critique.... uh... the mouth looks a bit off(not much help, sorry..)..... and the chains... edges are a bit smudged... maybe if you erased it a bit...?
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.

Your Darkest Dreams is a monthly feature devoted to sharing dark photography works from DeviantArt. Often misunderstood as "morbid" or "depressing", Your Darkest Dreams seeks to show this kind of photography in a new way: by showcasing art that is thought provoking, but at the same time unabashedly displays the beauty in darkness.
I can't believe so many artists dedicate their efforts and time to create authentic works of art for us to USE freely! In the world of 3D stocks [ most of it unknown to the photomanipulators ] you can find truly inspiring fantasy and surreal elements that could never be captured by a regular camera. And the best part is that most of them come in a transparent background, so we can simply click and drag onto our work. How fun, fast and easy is that?
A former volunteer with the Artist Relations team, `kuschelirmel has always been a wonderful role model within the community.
With a vibrant and eclectic gallery that would make anyone proud, her dedication to providing informative and easy to follow tutorials, journal CSS, and inspirational stock is clearly long overdue for recognition.
